Bravo!!! What an amazing victory it was for India in the 1st game. The match was a one-sided affair as India dominated the proceedings from the start. Bumrah and Shami were all over England and dismissed the whole side for just 110 runs.

Chasing just 111 runs Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan were unbeaten and secured a 10-wicket win for India.

Pitch Report

The white Kookaburra ball has been swinging a lot in England this summer. The Lord’s pitch always has had something for the bowlers in the past, and the slope at Lord’s is also steep giving an advantage to the bowlers.

The batsmen will need to apply themselves to score big runs otherwise it won’t be easy to survive for long.
